Achieved 21st place in this international challenge focused on developing machine learning solutions for disaster recovery. The project was supported by the AI For Equity Challenge in partnership with IRCAI and AWS, renowned for its cloud infrastructure, providing essential resources such as cloud GPUs, Amazon SageMaker, AWS Glue, and AWS Deep Learning AMIs that enabled efficient ML model development. IRCAI, dedicated to advancing theoretical and applied research in artificial intelligence, fosters open solutions and capacity building for sustainable development. The challenge also leveraged data from the Amazon Sustainability Data Initiative (ASDI) and hand-labeled datasets curated by Kuyesera AI Lab.

Led a team of undergraduates to build a scalable, AI-powered online image editor using a cutting-edge Azure ML tech stack. We integrated Azure Machine Learning for end-to-end model training and management, used Flask as our backend framework, and utilized MLflow for experiment tracking while streamlining our CI/CD pipeline with Azure DevOps.
